Delete Saved Data

LabelInfo does not create a named login account. It uses a protected guest identity for the current device, and you can permanently delete that identity and its associated data.

Delete from the app

  1. Open LabelInfo on the device that holds the saved history.
  2. Open Settings, then Data & privacy.
  3. Choose Delete my saved data and confirm.

The request deletes the active LabelInfo backend records immediately, clears the corresponding app data from that device, and signs the app out of its current anonymous subscription identity. If you continue using LabelInfo, the app creates a new guest identity.

What is deleted

  • The device-scoped guest identity and protected credential.
  • Cloud scan history, extracted package evidence, scan details, and scan-specific chat threads and messages.
  • Push tokens and notification registration records.
  • Feedback submitted from that identity.
  • Backend scan usage, rewarded credits, and cached subscription state linked to that identity.
  • Local scan images, capture history, personalization selections, notification preferences, rate-app state, and ad-eligibility counters on that device.

What is not cancelled or immediately erased

Deleting LabelInfo data does not cancel an Apple App Store or Google Play subscription. Cancel it separately in the store account settings. Apple, Google, RevenueCat, advertising partners, and AI providers may retain transaction, fraud-prevention, advertising, or previously processed request records under their own legal and documented retention requirements.

Limited residual copies may remain temporarily in provider backups, security logs, or records that must be kept for fraud prevention, dispute handling, accounting, or legal compliance. They are not kept in the active LabelInfo history and are removed or de-identified when the applicable retention period ends.

If you no longer have the device

Email [email protected] with “LabelInfo data deletion request” in the subject. Because LabelInfo does not collect a login email or name, include any device-scoped LabelInfo identifier you still have. We may ask for information needed to verify control of the record and cannot disclose or delete a record when ownership cannot be verified.

Before deleting

Deletion is permanent. Saved product explanations, visible label text, scan confidence details, local images, and scan-specific questions will no longer be available. Export or record anything you need before confirming.
